The Town Council is delighted to announce that the much awaited play area for King George V Park will be installed in January 2021, adjacent to the Splashpad.  After a comprehensive tendering process, Wicksteed Leisure were awarded the contract.  It is anticipated that its completion in March will coincide with the grand opening of the Cricketers Café.

Alongside this, the sympathetic but exciting planting scheme in the sensory garden is also underway.  The park will be complemented with more benches and picnic tables. KGV is well on its way to becoming Melksham’s destination park to be enjoyed by all sectors of the community.
