Cllr Welch is a longstanding Liberal Democrat Councillor. She has lived in Melksham for over 30 years and is passionate about the town and community. She is involved in the regeneration of our town, is Chair of the Town Team, and joins town litter picks as well as working on litter picks with other Liberal Democrat Councillors.
The green spaces of our town are our lungs and Terri is working with other groups to enhance the planting of the Churchyard and cemeteries making them places of tranquility and beauty and working towards Melksham becoming known as Flower Town. Her longstanding connection with the Adventure Centre and the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club means that she is enthusiastic about the proposals for the Wilts and Berks Canal to come through our town.
She will serve on the SCOB (Shadow Campus Group), this together with her commitment to the Tourist Information Centre means that she is looking to enhance Melksham as a destination town.
